Progressive Web Apps: Install Web Apps Like Native Apps

Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) are web applications that can be installed and used like native mobile or desktop apps. Unlike traditional websites, PWAs work offline, send push notifications, and integrate with your device’s features. They bridge the gap between web and native apps, giving you the best of both worlds.

Why PWAs Matter

PWAs solve common frustrations with web apps:

  • No app stores needed - Install directly from your browser
  • Works everywhere - Same app on phone, tablet, laptop, desktop
  • Offline functionality - Many PWAs work without internet
  • Automatic updates - Get new features without manual downloads
  • Device integration - Access camera, notifications, and more

At Astoic, we build PWAs because they eliminate platform barriers. Our apps work on any device with a modern browser, no matter if you’re on iOS, Android, Windows, or Mac.
